Hummus Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 400g canned chickpeas, drained

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 2 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Paprika or cumin for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

  4. Transfer hummus to a bowl, drizzle with some olive oil, and sprinkle with paprika or cumin if desired.

  5. Serve with pita bread or sliced vegetables.
