Ingredients:
400g canned chickpeas, drained
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt to taste
Paprika or cumin for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
In a blender or food processor, combine chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt.
Blend until smooth.
Adjust seasoning if necessary.
Transfer hummus to a bowl, drizzle with some olive oil, and sprinkle with paprika or cumin if desired.
Serve with pita bread or sliced vegetables.
